  • To be eligible to work for PNW Aging, you must have:

    • Current Washington State CNA Certification, Home Care Aide Certification, or NAR.

    • Must be enrolled in a CNA school or Home Care Aide Training program without active license. You may also qualify for 1163 Exemption Status.

    • Valid Driver’s License.

    • Auto Insurance and Reliable Transportation.

    • Food Handlers Card.

    • First Aid/CPR Certification.

    • CORE & Diabetes Nurse Delegations required within 90 days of employment.

    • Ability to pass Preliminary Background Check

  • We will reimburse for licensures and certifications such as CNA/HCA Renewal, First Aid/CPR, Food Handlers, and Nurse Delegation.

  • Our in-person training program will ensure you have the tools you need to succeed as a Caregiver. These in-person trainings help us train you on how to use proper techniques for things like transfers, toileting assistance, bed baths, and peri care. This not only enhances your skill sets, but also ensures yours and the clients safety. This in-person training also offers CE’s adding to and helping you maintain the 12hrs per year required by the Washington State Department of Health.

  • PNW Aging offers 12+ hrs per year to ensure you maintain your license with the Washington State Department of Health and have the proper training needed to continue offering a high standard of care.

  • After 90 days, employees are eligible to access PTO benefits that accrue up to 40 hours in the first year and up to 80 hours in the second.

  • Employees can accrue up to 100 hours per year, with a rollover of 40hrs per year.

  • PNW Aging uses a Team Engagement Platform designed to unite, inspire, and motivate our teammates, to support one another, practice self-care, and be recognized for the hard work you do every single day! This program rewards points that can be redeemed for things like gift cards to a day spa or a night out on the town with family or friends!
